Students

The students page lists all students in your class and offers a way to preview practice activity quickly at a glance.

Features

• Create groups of students within a class to better organize and view activity in large classes
• Tap any student to visit their student profile page to see more granular data
• Order students alphabetically or by most recent activity

Groups

For classes with many students or generally to help keep things organized, you may assign students into groups. A group can be anything, for example “strings” and “winds” or “beginners” and “advanced”. A student may be in more than one group.

Once you’ve created a group, you can then filter the list of students by the group and switch between them. This will also allow creating notes or homework assignments for an entire group at a time.

Student profile pages

Student profile pages give a more detailed view of student activity. This page shows:

• More detailed practice time charts with custom date ranges
• The ability to view and set practice goals
• Summary of assignment status
• Practice, invoice, and lesson history

Note

• Only goals created by a teacher are shown here (not all goals the student may have created for themselves in the app)
• Tap the “feed” button to see a larger visual feed of this student’s practice history to enable commenting + liking.
